VLC media player released final 1.0.0.0 with new multimedia content playing effect. It still supports ordinary audio and video formats together with DVD, VCD and other stream protocol. Additionally, VLC media player also could be used as a stream server for unicast and multicast, and works under high-speed net connection such as IPv4 and IPv6. This VLC at the same time combines decoder from FF mpeg and program from lib dvd css together, extending itself to play multimedia content and encrypted DVD files. The program has been in beta for an eternity, but the improvements that have been made over the time it’s been out there have been remarkable. The program is very polished, and there’s an incredibly broad array of included codecs. Just about any video or audio file you can throw at the program can be played without an issue (though we still come across the occasional oddball file that nothing can open.) As it’s free, open-source software, you can either get binaries for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and BeOS, or get the source code and build it for whatever platform you need it for. (Though we imagine pretty much everyone who reads this particular blog will probably be downloading the Windows and Mac OS X versions the most.)
This new version includes:
• Live recording
• Instant pausing and Frame-by-Frame support
• Finer speed controls
• New HD codecs (AES3, Dolby Digital Plus, TrueHD, Blu-Ray Linear PCM, Real Video 3.0 and 4.0)
• New formats (Raw Dirac, M2TS …) and major’s improvements in many formats…
• New Dirac encoder and MP3 fixed-point encoder
• Video scaling in fullscreen
• RTSP Trickplay support
• Zipped file playback
• Customizable toolbars
• Easier encoding GUI in Qt interface

Have Fun!!
